Getting Over Blogging (and life) Stalemate

Right now, I am sitting on twenty four (24) good (in my opinion) post ideas (and about 60+ of what I consider average ones). I know what to make, I know how (well, for the most part) and I know what to show.

Yet, ~~days~~ weeks now, after my little one goes to bed, I sit on the computer, just to get up a little later having written absolutely nothing and having watched yet another 35 videos of cute animals. I go outside in the middle of the night, have a smoke (yes, I smoke; yes, I should quit; let’s move on though) trying to strengthen my resolution and then go back inside, sit semi-determined in front of the computer and…watch even more cute animal videos. And some with cute kids. And a handful about science. And then somehow, I end up in one with a Kardashian in it, by which time I realize I should really give up and get some sleep.

Honey, You Are Too Tall – A Dresser Makeover

This is a story about a tall dresser that was too tall. And very ugly. And was beheaded…

Once upon a time, there were two laminate dressers. A tall bulky one and a short, longer, bulky one. Both of them were in need of some serious nip tuck and a heavy dose of permanent make up. If they wanted to stay in our bedroom that is. One day, I braved myself and decided to try my hand in furniture makeover and in true queen of hearts fashion, I exclaimed “off with its head“!

And indeed, the tall dresser got a bit shorter but also got a pretty paint job and brass knobs that look like beautiful golden jewelry – which was totally by accident and you can do it too!
