We are still buried in snow but, somewhere in the world, spring has arrived. In – approximately – 3 months, it might come to New England, too. Maybe. I am hopeful. Meanwhile, I spent the day looking at crafts with cupcake liners until I  realized that the theme was consistently flowery and happy. Spring (and summer) are obviously on my mind, even if it is nowhere around our location.

Here are some truly beautiful DIY creations using cupcake liners. Because cupcake liners aren’t just for cupcakes. Nope! They are for wreaths and banners and chandeliers and…well, see for yourself:

Love the butterflies and the lights.

They’re cute. 😀 They can be very versatile (I imagine different colors) – for nurseries and kids’ rooms, too. Little ones love *fairy lights* (who am I kidding, I love them too).

yes,I really hope to be able to make the flower lights!!!
just a question? how hot do the lights get?I don’t have any, so I don’t know.

I think it depends on whether they are led lights, and warm or cold color. I have had ones that got pretty warm but also other lights that remained cold to the touch.
Led ones – using less energy – are not supposed to get hot (and that makes them safe for real Christmas trees for example). Incandescent lights on the other hand, get pretty warm. 🙂
