Made new art for our walls. Literally – tongue in cheek – ART, with a touch of pop. This is my best yet and a good step towards filling what hubby calls my “army of frames”. You might have gotten a glimpse of the 2nd printable in our 15 minute accent wall post.
Check out how to make your own and grab the free printables.
If you want to make your own pop art, I used this tutorial and the free version of picmonkey. It is very easy and the blend mode does not necessarily have to be on Lighten – experiment with the other options too, as most produce an interesting overlay effect.
Extra tip: you can move the “overlay” to position it partially under the letters. That’s what I did with the 2nd printable (my favorite!).
Rainbow gradient printable
Download the rainbow printable here.
Frame suggestion: I think it looks its best with simple white frames.
Black and gradient printable
Download the black & gradient printable here.
Frame suggestion: I found it looks its best with black frames for more contrast.
Enjoy your weekend. 🙂
